Cooray
A Dooray companion for your phone
An Android app that lays out Dooray mail, today, work, wiki, drive, messenger, calendar and boards for a phone screen. A home screen widget shows your calendar and what is on, and new activity arrives as a notification. It is installed from an APK rather than from a store.

- This is not an official NHN Dooray app and has no connection with NHN. It is a companion app made separately by a Dooray user.
- For notifications, keep the official app as well: this one checks for new activity and tells you, so it can be later than the official app.
- It does not come from a store: you download the APK and install it yourself. Your phone will warn you the first time, which is normal, and the steps below walk through it.
- The source is not published; the GitHub repository is only where the installer lives.
How to install
Written for what you see on the phone. The exact wording differs a little between phones and Android versions.
-
Get the file
Tap the download button above. When it finishes you can open it straight from the notification, or find it later in the Download folder of your Files app.
-
Allow this app to install apps
Opening the file says apps from this source are blocked. Tap through to settings, allow it for that app, then come back and the install continues. You can switch it off again afterwards and the app keeps working.
-
Get past the Play Protect warning
If a window says the app is from an unknown developer, tap for more detail and choose to install anyway. It appears because the app did not come through the store.
-
Sign in to Dooray
The first run asks for your Dooray address, id and password. The address is the one you use to reach Dooray in a browser.
-
Allow notifications
Allow notifications if you want to hear about new activity. You can change it later under Settings, Apps, Cooray, Notifications.
-
Put a widget on the home screen
Press and hold an empty spot on the home screen, choose widgets, then drag the Cooray calendar or schedule widget where you want it.
